Bright lights
A friend of ours celebrated her birthday and the theme was color blocking!
On Carmel: (Skirt: Mapleberry, Top: Topshop, Shoes + necklace: i need to ask her). On me (Orange flutter-sleeve dress: Dorothy Perkins, Shoes + belt: F21).
Was only going to post my outfit photo as well as Carmel's but just had to post Mel's (pic on right) outfit because 1st, she's the birthday girl and 2nd, because she designed this lovely piece herself!!

Meg magazine (Dec-Jan issue)
Was really thrilled to get a copy of this magazine because not only did PIROUETTE get to be a part of this, but so did some good friends of mine. Its really a keeper! + Oh yeah, my photo is there too. >__<
This part, my family keeps lauging like crazy because looking at all the ages, i'm actually the oldest!
Thank you soooo much!!! Sino kaya nag-style?! Achieve!
Greatest surprise is that i thought the mag was only the December issue. Turns out, it ran till January. *kilig* Really thankful to everyone involved. ♥

Video: I cut my hair!
Felt like my hair needed a makeover so I finally went to the Tony and Jackey salon that Carmel's been recommending. Did this early December, btw.
They did a great job despite the language barrier ~the stylists are all Korean!! Oh, and guess what, the place has free wifi. Def. a big bonus for me. Anyhow, video above shows how we got our hair done. ♥

The dream shoot
A teaser photo for my latest Pirouette collection, taken from (the forever awesome) Elisa Aquino's blog. I swear, that girl is just sooo so talented. Got to work with Nikki + Anne who I felt was just so perfect to model for my brand. They were super nice and easy to work with. ^_^

Video: outfit close-up + double bun hair tutorial
Hello, here's more of my face. This is getting embarrassing (or is it?).

Some screen shots (all outfit details are posted in the vid).
The vid below is a close-up of what I wore in my Cosmania post + my nails + my eyelashes, and a tutorial of how to do my double hair bun. Because strangely, strangers really approached me that day asking how I did it.
Sorry, video quality is awful. I don't know how to fix it.
This is not my real hair btw. Hair tutorial starts at 1:33. Watch at your own risk. *puffer fish cat face *_*

back to Tumblr-ing
Hi to those new to my blog! I usually have this habit where I'm gone for quite a while, and then I do huge mass posts like today :)

Just wanted to say that i finally decided to go Tumblr-ing again. ♥ If i'm not here on blogspot, then i'm most probably posting something on Tumblr. ...or my Pirouette facebook page (...or on multiply). *sigh~ ^_^

Cosmania 2011
So last weekend, Chrizee and I went to MOA. Bianx was supposed to be with us but boo she got sick :(

My outfit was more gyaru casual. Kept my look "simple" but event appropriate-ish by donning false lashes, a wig + mix and matched the outfits already in my closet.
Many years ago, a bunch of my friends and I would go to cons like this, but lately we've all just been so busy and our schedules never seem to sync up. So yes, this time it was just Chrizee and I.

IMY!
I made a vid about my outfit as soon as I got home, lol. Will blog about that in another post. :)

Rainbow gradient cracked nails + korean inspi' outfit
(Peterpan collar sweetheart top + lace shorts: Pirouette. Knit hat: Forever21. Cardigan: Greenhills. Shoes: from Singapore.)
I finally got to get my outfit photos from Carmel's cam! Hehe. Here's what I wore to day 1 of the Next big thing bazaar I joined last month.

(Shatter + pastel matte nail polish: All from The Face Shop.)
Here's a photo of my nails that day! I did them myself again. Yes, my nail obsession has gone up a level once more. I used 3 colors of nail polish to make the gradient effect, and put a single coat of shatter polish to create the cracked look. I just discovered The Face Shop carries a line of shatter polishes that are cheaper than OPI!

Herp derp on the left. And a full body outfit photo on the right.
There are actually more pics; but I think these will suffice. :) the end.

Leopard nails and make-up
Experimenting with leopard nail art has led me to create a matching make-up look. Saw one of my old pink hair extensions and decided to add a side braid to complete the fun look.

On my nails: polish pen + regular nail polish all from The Face Shop. Eye make-up: Catwalk cosmetics eyeshadow + Maybelline liquid eyeliner. Clip-on hair: SM dept store.
Yes, leopard print shirt too. So very animalistic. *_*

Day time pajamas

Went to a Japanese robot exhibit.(*looks at hair* >> it was so short then.)
Was also in S'pore last Sept/ Oct and I can't believe i never posted me wearing my "day time pajamas" (or so my uncle calls it). Wish I brought a brown cardigan with me during that time so that my outfit would look more garden-ish. ^_^

Ides

Had nothing formal to wear from my suitcase so I borrowed my aunt's super long ankle length dress and "fake" shortened it by rolling it up + belting it at the waist.
I must post because today is a special day. Hehe. Also bought myself a new laptop yesterday because my 3 year old Toshiba is dead. Now I am broke till December! Huhuhu. ~ but no regrets, i love my new toy. We also watched Lion King at the Marina Bay Sands theater today. :)

I die of happiness!!! My online store got featured in the Feb 2011 Stache Magazine issue which was released 2 days ago. Haha, i'm delerious now.
Click on the center of the image (above) to view the online magazine in full. Below are some screen shots of parts of my Pirouette product feature.
Check out {THE RUNAWAYS} + an article about Pirouette! Its on pages 56-69 (Oh yes I counted).
Some of the stuff on the models are still prototypes and aren't even going to be on the site until April 2011. Yep, Stache Mag just gave you guys a sneak peek.
Me wearing PIROUETTE + more of my clothes.
Best. March 1. EVER. Thank you Stache Mag!
And now its time for a shameless plug! >>>
The magazine is such a fun read and this is truly not from a biased opinion! Hehe. + They use issuu. I've been wanting to learn how to use that since... FOREVER @_@.

Summer Solstice

Sheer maxi tulle skirt and stained glass top from: Pirouette. Lace cover up made by: me (Michele Achacoso).
Wore this to day 2 of the Summer Solstice bazaar at the Megatent last first week of June. Wore my hair in a puffy side bun which I thought I could never achieve because of my thin thin hair, until I saw Bubz beauty's tutotial.
